Anyhow funny you asked as I just did some house remodeling... Some being very little and one of the areas we worked on was the bath and kitchen areas.

The upstairs bath (being as the house was built in 1976) had some awful LIME GREEN showers tiles with no chalk or sealant causing the drywall to be soaked beyond belief and the bath counter and sink were of same ulgy 70s colors. It also had these too piss poor chandeler type tear shaped lites that hung down for lite.... so.....

so ummm... i have a half-bath downstairs that is
STILL currently incapable of being used for visitors...
but its like most half-baths in that the toilet
faces the sink....
the walls are sponge painted in a 'papyrus' tone
with scarlet towels...
on the sink rests a scarlet colored table runner
(with tassels!) and 3 various sized olive colored
saki bowls. inside of the largest bowl is a few
bars of 'bee & flower' soap... and next to
the bowls is two *fake ivory* oriental figures.

behind the toilet is an oriental scroll running
down the wall and a clutch of 4 foot bamboo.

on the floor is an ivory colored rug.

Well what is REALLY scarey is for no reason I just took those pix today at 3pm .. same as the one with evan and the dog. Now you tell me about superstitions... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

In our half bath upstairs, you must pass through it, to get to my brothers room.
it's pretty small... just a mirror/cabinet thing.... if you were at the sink facing the mirror, the door to get out would be just to your right.. the other door (to zachs room) directly behind you... the toilet, is to the (if your facing away from the mirror looking at bros door) the toilet is to the left, facing the right..all cream colored or something I think.... dark green towel hangs to the left of the sink...
There is a little birdhouse/flowerpot thing on the back of the toilet, on top of a long doiley thingy... and on the wall above the back of the toilet is a little shelf filled with plants and what not...
the toilet dispenser is on the wall left of the toilet (right by zachs door)
...
there's a bar of ivory soap on the edge of the sink... and... on the floor to the left of the sink, in the corner, is a laundry basket.
wooooo hooo.
NOW...
our FULL bath.... ...
to get to that, you must pass through my parents room.
you walk in... to the left and right, a sink... one on left one on right...
the tub is right in front of you (kind of off to the left a tad)... then off to the right just a tad, is a closet.. and on the right of the closet is the shower (directly in front of the sink/mirror on the right)
To the left of the tub (which is blue, walls are white, kinda, they got in the middle of kinda remodelin, then kinda stopped... so certain walls that HAD wallpaper, dont now... and they're ... kinda painted, kinda not.. hehee.)
anyways.. to the left of the tub (behind a wall the left corner of the bathroom) is the toilet, with stuff on the back, although I can't remember what... books maybe..
dark green towels hang from both towel hangers...
as you enter, you'll notice a skylight directly above you in the center of the room, and it has new white (or super light pink) tile with pink grout.
